We are pleased to partner up with Swisscontact exploring the potential of the “Mini garments sector of Kushtia municipality through a comprehensive study”. Our primary goal is to assess growth potential and identify interventions for enhancing competitiveness. This involves conducting a value-chain analysis, identifying challenges and constraints, analyzing current practices and policies, and pinpointing sector opportunities for strategic support. This assessment falls under “PRABRIDDHI,” a Local Economic Development (LED) project funded by the Governments of Bangladesh and Switzerland. It is co-implemented by the Local Government Division (LGD) and Swisscontact.

This assignment aims to assess the growth potential of the mini garments sector and identify the areas of potential interventions that will enable the sector to be more competitive. The project will closely analyze the value chain,  analyzing existing challenges to identify the root causes of the problems and challenges and analyze the current practices and existing policies of the GoB.
