Training program in collaboration with SME Foundation under USAID’s SARDI initiative

Inspira Advisory & Consulting Limited, in collaboration with the SME Foundation, hosted a two-day Training of Trainers on February 24th and 25th, 2024, at the Institute of SME Foundation business lab in Dhaka. This event was part of the USAID’s South Asian Regional Digital Initiative (SARDI) Cybersecurity Awareness activity for MSMEs in Bangladesh. Attendees included trainers in cybersecurity, IT, e-commerce, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship development.
 

 

Cybersecurity expert Tanvir Hassan Zoha commenced the session by providing an overview of Bangladesh’s cybersecurity landscape, trainer status and demonstrated security tools applicable for MSME training. Cyberlaw expert Saimum Reza Talukder elaborated on theoretical concepts including cyberlaw, cyberpiracy, and existing laws in Bangladesh. He explored the legal implications of Artificial Intelligence, international cybercrime laws, hacker convictions, and tech company incidents.
