With academic experience in management, market research, and economics under the tutelage of some of the finest teachers in Bangladesh, Mohammad Adnan Rahman aims to use his background to work at the intersection of the development and private sectors: to introduce sustainable interventions to the Bangladeshi development sector, going beyond models that require constant aid to ones that are self-sufficient and sustainable in the long run. He specializes in market research, landscaping, value chain analysis, strategy development, and data analysis.

At Inspira Advisory and Consulting Ltd, Adnan has delivered a wide range of projects for international NGOs, donor organizations, as well as noteworthy private sector clients. For Concern Worldwide, Adnan worked to assess livelihood scope and devise vocational training schemes for bottom-of-the-pyramid beneficiaries in climate afflicted coastal areas of Khulna, working with public, private, and NGO-led training organizations in the process. For Swisscontact’s Bskill-FUL project, Adnan has helped to develop an LMIF (Labor market intermediation facility) model and deployment plan that aims to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers in 3 of Bangladesh’s major manufacturing sectors: Light Engineering, Furniture Making, and Leather Goods Manufacturing. For the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia’s bi-lateral donor organization, he has contributed to the AHP Phase-2 endline evaluation projec. For the private sector, Adnan has played key roles to research framework development, data collection, cleaning, and data analysis in large-scale national studies. For notable Chinese smartphone brand “realme”, Adnan has conducted a nationwide brand health study. For Workindo, a Turkish concern of the Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi corporation, Adnan has worked on a construction sector landscape study and helped them develop a go-to-market strategy for a construction matchmaking tech platform.

As a graduate of the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, Adnan also brings management and organizational skills to the table, having a vibrant history of extra-curricular engagement. As an internationally published business case writer, he can be relied upon to produce high quality reports and dissemination tools.
