Tahsin Tanim specializes in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with extensive experience in data collection, analysis, and fieldwork across multiple sectors, including private sector mapping, women-led businesses, youth empowerment, and child labor studies. Tahsin has been actively involved in endline evaluations, baseline studies, and impact assessments, applying diverse research tools such as key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions (FGDs), and in-depth interviews (IDIs). Expertise extends to survey design, data cleaning, and database management using tools like Kobo Toolbox and Excel.
Tahsin has completed his graduation in Petroleum & Mining Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST). Tahsin has conducted extensive qualitative data collection in regions such as Satkhira and other districts of Bangladesh. Experience includes working closely with enumerators, from recruitment and training to survey execution, ensuring high-quality data collection. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including national and district-level organizations, has facilitated effective communication and project implementation.
