We’re pleased to announce a new partnership with Tasaffy Hossain. We formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) welcoming Tasaffy Hossain to our advisor pool. Tasaffy has over 16 years of experience in the development sector, specializing in feminist strategy design, market development, and Knowledge Management. She is deeply involved in project management, sub-sector assessments, and implementing interventions with a focus on M4P, gender, and social inclusion. Since 2010, she has actively contributed to Bangladeshâs feminist movement, advocating for gender equality and creating dialogue spaces on various related issues. Tasaffy is also skilled in Knowledge Management and Communication, trained in DCED and FPAR Approaches, aiming to integrate feminist perspectives into leadership building and Bangladeshâs development agenda.

In 2010 she founded Bhonnishikha which is directly contributing to changing the gender stereotypes and gender roles that are holding women back. The organization facilitates discussions, raises awareness, and promotes impetus for positive changes for equal and humanitarian treatment of men and women. She is also a mentor in the South Asian Young Women Leadership and Mentorship Initiative (SAYWLM) since 2017, working directly with young women to build their leadership capacity. She conducts several training sessions for leadership development activities. She has directly worked on different short-term assignments that are directly related to gender as a whole.
