Adnan has been working towards assessing new investment opportunities from the beginning of his career. Catering to an array of private, government and development sector clientele, he has conducted business feasibility and transformation studies, as well as assessed policy interventions with the sole purpose of pinpointing opportunities for growth and inclusion. He started his career working for a Non-Banking Financial Institution(NBFI) where he undertook research-oriented analytical work on the Bangladeshi financial market and assessed the economic health of the country with context to investments. He primarily possesses proficiency in financial modelling and investment risk assessment, along with experience in designing data collection plans and tools. To supplement his proficiency in investment risk assessment, He also holds a certificate on Understanding Financial Markets with particular emphasis on Investor Behavior. At Inspira, he has demonstrated exposure to the rapidly evolving fuel and energy sector of Bangladesh through “Bangladesh Tank Terminal Landscape Study” where he was entrusted with the responsibility of assessing the investment feasibility of a project. His current engagements include “Market Analysis And Industry Shaping For Edible Oils In Bangladesh” – a study which is a co-partner initiative of MoInd and GAIN aimed at curbing vitamin A deficiency through market transformation and “Community Based Approach to Address Urban Air Pollution”- a World Vision Bangladesh initiative aimed to involve the youth in developing innovative ideas to combat air pollution. His long-term career ambitions include spearheading a platform that promotes entrepreneurism as an antidote to inequality.
