Mapping Private Sectors in Bangladesh To Collaborate with The CSO Alliance Hub

Background

Since Bangladesh’s independence, civil society organizations (CSOs) have driven key changes in areas like human rights, poverty, and the environment. However, financial struggles, bureaucracy, and limited capacity now threaten their survival. In response, ActionAid Bangladesh launched the EU-funded “SUSHIL” project to strengthen 123 grassroots CSOs across nine districts, aiming to boost their policy influence and advocacy for inclusive development. Crucial to this success is collaboration with the private sector. This study maps local businesses, their CSR priorities, and their potential for partnering with CSOs to achieve lasting social impact.
